HERBAL MEDICINE

Medicinal herbs can be an effective way of addressing acute and chronic conditions as well as used preventatively.

I've studied Herbal Medicine as well as other natural ways of healing for many years,

predominantly in the Wise Woman Tradition, which emphasizes healing through nourishment, compassionate listening and the use of common herbs.

This approach has a spiritual basis and the plants we use are seen as living beings. We meet them in their natural environment and often use one plant at a time, building a relationship with it to increase it's healing power on deeper levels. In this tradition, I address the person, not the disease. Each person is seen as whole and individual.

Herbal recommendations, are offered, where appropriate, during my Readings, Energy Healing and Spiritual Counseling sessions. I will also be offering a number of herbal classes and workshops each season, for those who would like to deepen their knowledge.

Introduction to the Wise Woman Tradition

Wild Plant Walk

Learn how to identify and ethically wildcraft local, common, medicinal and edible plants of the region as we explore them in their own environment. Be prepared for an easy/moderate hike, bring water and wear appropriate clothing.
